Welcome to the 15th Annual Wine, Food, Music & Art Extravaganza on Bathhouse Row in Hot Springs National Park. Known as “Hot Springs’ Best Party”, this popular evening of wine tasting, dining and art will be from 4 to 7 pm in the historic bathhouses and front lawns.
The menu will feature tastings from some of Hot Springs’ most popular restaurants which have been paired with specially selected wines. Fine art from Hot Springs galleries and floral arrangements will add to the ambiance. Thanks to generous grants from Community Sponsors, music and entertainment will be an added feature this year.
The event starts at 3:45 pm at the Hot Springs National Park Administration building -- corner of Central Avenue and Reserve Street – where participants will pick up their event badges and booklets listing restaurants and bathhouse locations.
Then begin your stroll on Bathhouse Row and stop by the Lamar Baths lawn to collect your commemorative souvenir wineglass and a special discount offer from the “Bathhouse Row Emporium.” Operated by the non-profit Eastern National as the park’s official bookstore, the Emporium is acknowledging all participants’ support of the Friends by offering participants a 15 percent discount coupon on purchases during the month of May.
Don’t forget to return to the Lamar Bathhouse at the end of the evening for dessert and coffee and to drop off your event badges.
Continue on to the Buckstaff Bathhouse to start your wine and food tasting. This year, the Buckstaff Baths Co., the oldest concessioner in the National Park System, celebrates 100 continuous years of operation on Bathhouse Row. We wish them a happy anniversary!
The Museum of Contemporary Art at the Ozark Bathhouse has offered the use their Gallery Space to feature several restaurants.
The Quapaw Baths & Spa is once again offering the Quapaw Bathhouse for a restaurant to be located on their great porch.
Stop by at the Fordyce Bathhouse, for champagne, music and a restaurant selection. You no longer have to rush out, so stay at your leisure.
More food, wine, art, flowers and music await at the Maurice Bathhouse Lobby where several more restaurants will be featured.
Be sure to stop by at the Hale Bathhouse, where The Muses Three Arts Café is offering its lobby for the event and last, but not least, drop in at the Superior Bathhouse where Chef Heather is featuring The Arlington’s tasty lamb chops for everyone to enjoy.
It goes without saying that you may stroll along Bathhouse Row at your leisure, in no particular order, while you enjoy the evening, visit with old friends and make new acquaintances.
The Friends of the Fordyce would like to thank all the park business partners on Bathhouse Row for allowing the use of their facilities to host this special fund raising event in support of Hot Springs National Park.
